Who should attend
This cross-sectional conference is intended for health professionals, scientists (clinical, environmental epidemiological and community oriented) and policy makers who have a special interest in children's environmental health, as well as leaders from the private sector, non-governmental organisations and community organisations, and all levels of government.
Date and Location
The conference will take place from 10th of June – 12th of June 2007 at the premises of the Medical University of Vienna, Austria.
Certification
The medical participants of the conference will receive “credit points” from the Austrian Doctor’s Association, where the conference will be accredited.
Official Language
The official language of the conference is English. No simultaneous translation service will be available.

Social events
Vienna is a most beautiful town with fantastic cultural highlights. So it is a pleasure to announce two very special social events for all participants. INCHES is planning four nice evenings for you. The exact dates will be announced in the final program.
Dinner reception on Saturday the 9th of June at 19.30 at the world famous 12 Apostelkeller – an amazing old cellar deep under the city centre in Vienna offering a buffet of typical Vienna food specialities and of course some of the gorgeous local drinks – from apple most to vine. Since seats are restricted it is strongly advised to reserve a voucher for the dinner reception with your booking. The price is 40,- Euro per person, additional guests are welcome.
Reception of the City of Vienna (planned)
Vienna concert in the spectacular setting of the old Palais Lobkowitz you will be delighted to hear a concert with classical music from Vienna , followed by vine and finger food intermezzo, and rounded up with a nightly tour through the world known exhibition hall. Since places are restricted it is necessary to reserve a voucher for the dinner reception best with your booking. The price is 35,- Euro per person, additional guests are welcome.
Reception of the Ministry of Environment (planned)
Registration and Fees
The early registration fee for the conference "Children's Health and the Environment" is 300,00 Euro and includes all coffee/tea/lunch breaks and entrance to the conference. The early registration deadline is 1st of May 2007. After 1st May 2007 the registration fee is 360,00 Euro per person. For students the fee is 100,00 Euro. There is the option to add 50,00 Euro (or more) to your registration fee in order to make it possible for attendees from developing countries to participate. It will be made known at the conference which person attended based on your contribution.
Participants from developing countries can apply for reduced fees, in a written form to the conference secretariat. INCHES will support these applications and make a decision due to the financial possibilities in April 2007. The reduced fee will be 50,00 Euro per person.
If you wish to attend the conference please complete the enclosed registration form and return it to the Conference Secretariat. You will be registered as a participant as soon as the registration fee has been received. The Conference Secretariat will confirm your registration by email. For payment of the fee see "Payment".

Cancellation Policy
Notification of cancellation should be sent in writing or by email to the Conference Secretariat. Cancellations will be accepted until 1 May 2007 with a refund of all fees except for a cancellation charge of 20 Euro. It is regretted that no refunds can be made for cancellations received after 1 May 2007.

The conference will take place in the Medical University of Vienna, Schwarzspanierstrasse 17 in Vienna.

! Please be aware that Vienna is a very interesting place, and usually very early fully booked. Please make your hotel arrangements as early as possible !
