We are writing to request your participation at the 12th International Conference on Children’s Health and the Environment, to be held on-site on 6, 7 and 8th of May 2026, at the University of Cairo in Cairo, Egypt. It is an important opportunity to share experiences and scientific advances about children’s health and environment. Scientists, Policy Makers, Pediatricians, Nurses, Doctors, Educators, Urban planners, Interest groups, are all asked to contribute to this international conference. International accreditation points secured!
You are invited to submit an abstract before 15th of April 2026. See abstract submission link below. Abstracts for posters or short presentations are welcome. Acceptance of abstracts are notified to you before 20th of April 2026. This option is for ONLINE presentation for anyone outside of Egypt (please register for €50) or for Egyptian citizens also for live participation.
On 8th of May we organise a training or workshop day. You can register for more than on session. Depending on the number of registrations we will organise the trainings in two parallel sessions.
The training/workshop day is free of charge.

Leaflet about 12th Conference

The conference has the following objectives:
- to provide an international forum for the latest research findings in children’s environmental health
- to define the relationship between environmental contaminants and children’s health
- to emphasize the importance of prenatal exposure to environmental factors on child and mother health
- to create awareness about the relationship between children’s health and the environment
- to initiate and direct future research in the field of children’s environmental health.
The scope of the conference will include but is not be limited to the following topics:
- Global Challenges on mother & child health
- Environmental risk for children’s health
- Climate Change and its impact to health
- Waste problems (e-waste, medical waste)
- Lessons learned (Experience of countries)
There are live presentations and possibilities for live-streaming presentations, pre-recorded presentation and posters.

For richer participants an additional amount of registration fee or donations are welcome.

Each person registering for the conference (and not having an Egyptian passport) will have to submit a copy of their passport for security reasons before March 1st, 2026 to be allowed to enter the University of Cairo.
